Content Strategist – Creative Services

Hi!

I'm Rachel, a content strategist/editor here at POD!

I love strategy. It's one of the main reasons I get up in the morning. I love thinking about impact and how to drive results that actually matter. I'm most excited when I'm learning and talking to clients.

I began my career finishing my English degree at the University of Calgary, where I learned to think critically about the content I was given and form my own ideas about significant patterns and ideas presented to me. During my time since graduating, I've done customer service, admin, and stared at my fair share of Excel spreadsheets. Now, I'm a content strategist, copywriter, and editor (and loving it).

I love to write. If you're curious, you can find my work in the Firework Arts Journal, The Banner, and (most recently) The New Quarterly Magazine. I was longlisted for the Peter Hinchcliffe Short Fiction Award and you can find my name in the speaker's list for the 2025 MacEwan University's Student English Conference.
