Megan McCarthy

Megan McCarthy is a highly dedicated VP of Operations at Cleinman, bringing over fifteen years of expertise in optimizing operational efficiencies and implementing strategic initiatives. Over the last twelve years at Cleinman, she has provided custom practice transition consulting and analytic services, successfully guiding Optometrists through complex exit strategies, succession planning and new associate hiring. She provides significant value to clients by combining data-driven insights with a creative, strategic approach, ensuring exceptional results that align precisely with their business objectives.

Megan holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Trinity University. Her professional background is rooted in the healthcare field, including critical work in Healthcare Information Systems, managing the transition from paper to electronic medical records, and implementing LEAN processes that culminated in a Press Ganey award for patient satisfaction. Additionally, she has direct experience as a Clinic Manager for an Optometry practice. 

Megan is based in upstate NY, where she lives with her husband, children, and dogs. Outside of her professional life, she is passionate about traveling, reading, and sports, often found enthusiastically supporting her children at their games.
